Despite who he is, and all of the power, knowledge, and wisdom he has demonstrated so far in Luke’s gospel, as Jesus prays to God immediately prior to his arrest, he appears to be terrified of what is to about to happen. What exactly is it that Jesus foresees and fears so much?!
